Atlas Hospitality Group is pleased to present El Caminante Bar & Bungalows, a 30-room luxury boutique hotel located at 34862 Pacific Coast Highway in Dana Point, California. Originally built in 1946 as one of California’s early motor-court hotels, the property was fully renovated in 2024, preserving the historic exterior while transforming the interiors into a Spanish hacienda-inspired boutique property with Saltillo tile floors, handcrafted mosaics, vintage lighting, and curated artwork throughout its uniquely designed bungalows.

The hotel sits on 0.96 acres of beachfront real estate directly across from Capistrano Beach, offering unobstructed ocean views from most guestrooms. The two-story, 10,581 SF building includes 53 parking spaces. Twenty-two rooms on the lower level feature private patios with custom outdoor fireplaces, while a presidential hacienda suite above the lobby includes a large private patio for gatherings.

The property has also been approved for the Mills Act property tax reduction program, providing long-term transferable tax benefits.
