R & K Investment Group acquired the 40-room Magnolia Tree Hotel at 2176 S. Harbor Blvd. in Anaheim, California, for $8.7 million, or $217,500 per door, from a San Francisco-based private owner.

Renovated in 2003, the two-story, 15,288-square-foot hospitality property offers single queen rooms and multi-unit suites with kitchenettes.

Anaheim’s location and strong economic growth have made it one of Southern California’s most desirable markets for hotel investors. The city offers shops, restaurants, sports venues, museums and amusement parks including Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland.

Oliver Shah with Atlas Hospitality Group represented the seller. Robert Feist, also with Atlas, represented the buyer in the sale.
